Hotel was conveniently located in the central area of Hiroshima. I caught the loop bus to get there which seemed to be the quickest way from the station. If you have a lot of luggage you would be better off using a taxi. Hotel looked well presented, check-in was efficient and my room was a good size with a nice view of the city. There was an amenity bar in the lobby where you could get supplies you may have forgotten. There was a lounge on the top floor that was open during the day for complimentary coffee, snacks etc. Breakfast was really good with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options including some Hiroshima local specialties. The staff were friendly and efficient and helped me arrange luggage delivery to my next hotel. A short walk away from the hotel is the bus stop, streetcar, and the hotel is within walking distance of tourist sites and the shopping district. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it to a visitor to the city.

They have Happy hour every afternoon which was great we met other people from Australia and other countries as well as Japanese guests. Breakfast was a buffet which was very nice, Japanese food which was nice. I couldn't have a great variety as there wasn't a huge amount of Gluten Free options however there was enough I had a sufficient amount of food. It was close to the Hiroshima Peace museum,(a very worthwhile and thought provoking place.) the dome and the children's memorial. Also close to a wide range of restaurants, shopping areas within walking distance or a short cab ride if walking is not your thing. Also used the tram to visit the port which was also a great way to see the city. Finally access to train station was very easy also. Literally outside of our hotel to the left and right was a spectacular light show which ended the night before we left. Hiroshima definitely lived up to my expectations. the view from the guest dining area was amazing 360 degree view from a photographers point of view.

The rooms were compact, but were comfortable and had everything we needed. In terms of location this was excellent within a short walk to the Peace Memorial park right in the heart of Hiroshima. Hotel provides a Guest Lounge on the top floor with spectacular view both north and south across the whole bay and Miyajima island. Throughout the day the hotel provides Free drinks and snacks for guests including ice cream and wine at specific times which was a lovely treat watching the sunset with a drink, before heading of to the local restaurants.

We had a lovely high floor - 20th! So great view. Was very conveniently situated with a short walk to the Peace Museum and the ferry/boat trip landing area. We arrived by train and tram - the tram stop just around the corner. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Bed comfortable. Actually, was a bit of room in this hotel to put a suitcase and open out! Breakfast was on the 25th floor - which was nice. The breakfast itself was fine. Had some free stuff like most of the Hotels in Japan - toiletries and the like, and some free drinks upstairs! Photo: view from bedroom window.

Even if it's in a big structure, the hotel is very well organized and staff is kind and helpful. Its location is great, within walking distance to the peace memorial. You can easily find places to eat well nearby and a couple of tramway stops. Our room was rather small but clean and comfortable, with a view to the city. Breakfast was more than correct and served on the highest floor from which you have an amazing view. It's great value for money. Highly recommended to explore beautiful Hiroshima.

Great location, within walking distance to various sites such as the atomic bomb site, Hiroshima castle, art museum, as well as shopping strips and okonomiyaki joints. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous. Complementary snacks and drinks are a welcome addition to the overall hotel experience. Our rooms are clean and comfortable.

The top floor of the hotel is the breakfast buffet and a free snack/drink lounge during other times. The view from the top is phenomenal and it's such a great area to enjoy a meal or drink! I didn't make much use of the complimentary services outside of the breakfast times, but it's very good value for money. The breakfast was also really tasty with good variety. The staff all spoke good English and were really hospitable and helpful with processes I didn't understand (like using the takkyubin). This was really comforting for a solo travelling foreigner like myself.

Very nice hotel in walking distance to Memorial Museum and Peace park. Adequate sized rooms with great views over the city and the surrounding hills. Self service laundry and also laundry service. Helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Vg price for such a nice hotel.

The highlight of this hotel is the lounge bar which offers spectacular panoramic views over Hiroshima - we particularly enjoyed admiring the views during happy hour, where the hotel offers free snacks and alcoholic drinks. Our hotel room was lovely - we opted for a city view. The room was smaller than our previous in Osaka (this soon became a theme as we travelled across Japan) but it was big enough for 2 and our suitcases. It was well equipped, and comfortable. It was centrally located - 10 mins or so walking to the Atomic Bomb Dome and close to a street car stop. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Because of how much we loved the lounge bar and hotel overall, we would book again in a heartbeat.

We booked Mitsui Garden Hotel as it was located very centrally and looked clean with decent enough services. What we got though exceeded our expectations greatly. The staff who helped us check in on our first night were extremely helpful and friendly, and the views, overall service and cleanliness were all amazing. I will definitely be staying here again if and when I return to Hiroshima.
